Pearls of Wisdom for Understanding this Book- Joshua 1:8 (NIV)
Blessed is the man whose delight is in the law of the Lord, and on His
law he meditates day and night. He is like a tree planted by streams of
water, which yields its fruit in season and whose leaf does not wither.
Whatever he does prospers.
Delight yourself in the Lord, and He will give you the desires of your
heart. Commit your way unto the Lord; trust also in Him, and He will
bring it to pass.
The mind of sinful man is death, but the mind controlled by the Holy
Spirit is life and peace.
The Lord will make you the head, not the tail. If you pay attention to
the commands of the Lord your God that I give you this day and carefully
follow them, you will always be at the top, never at the bottom.
Wisdom is a shelter as money is a shelter, but the advantage of
knowledge is this: that wisdom preserves the life of its possessor.
