NATIONAL ASSOCIATION FOR RESEARCH AND THERAPY OF HOMOSEXUALITY

Therapists Sought to Work With JONAH Clients

JONAH (Jews Offering New Alternatives to Homosexuality), the first organization formed to offer support for Jewish men and women desiring to transition themselves out of homosexuality, seeks to develop an international referral list for its clients. Part of JONAH's mission is to refer Jewish strugglers, their parents and loved ones to qualified therapists who incorporate within their healilng process the philosophical premise that homosexuality is neither inborn, benign, nor unchangeable.

While the therapist need not necessarily be Jewish, some of JONAH's religiously observant clients request "shomer shabbat" Jewish therapists. Thus it would be appreciated if, when indicating your interest in assisting JONAH clients, the therapist also indicates whether they are Jewish and whether they are familiar with the Torah's value system.

There is no charge for being listed. If you are interested in becoming part of JONAH's referral service, please send a covering letter with your resume to:

JONAH
P.O. Box 313
Jersey City, N.J. 07303
Or call JONAH's voice mail at (201) 433-3444
