Affirmative Reviews for New
Book on Homosexuality
Homosexuality and the Politics of Truth, by NARTH member
Jeffrey Satinover, has been very warmly received by reviewers from
several publications.
The Wanderer, a Catholic newspaper, published a lengthy
interview with the author, describing his work as "highly readable and
very valuable ...every American and every Catholic should read this
important book."
Culture Wars agreed with Dr. Satinover's assessment of the
biological research into the origins of homosexuality as "politically
expedient science." saying, "Satinover reduces to rubble the arguments
of LeVay and Hamer..."
Regeneration News, a ministry to homosexuals, calls the book
"outstanding" and features it on their recommended reading list.
Mandate, an Episcopal publication, describes it as an
important book, saying it "lays out and disentangles for us all the
strands that have been deliberately woven together by interested parties
to create a confused, seductive, apparently compassionate, but in
reality false and dangerous picture of homosexuality--i.e., that
homosexual practice is innate, unchangeable, normal and morally
inconsequential...Here is rigorous scientific scholarship in clear and
passionate prose."
"Toward Tradition," an orthodox Jewish organization, categorizes
the book as a "must read" and says Dr. Satinover "shows himself
to have keen insights not only on psychiatry and psychoanalysts, but on
the profound moral questions surrounding free will, compulsion and
sin...That one person could have written a volume containing such
incisive analysis from such different disciplines is testimony to the
author's wisdom and versatility...It is critical that morally sound
Americans get the education Dr. Satinover provides, and know how to
respond to the prevailing propaganda..."
