The Souper Bowl is an innovative idea that combines the hype of football's Super Bowl game with a message of Christian compassion and love.

Youth from each congregation use large soup pots to collect donations as parishioners leave worship services the morning of the game. They ask worshipers to give one dollar each. Many congregations ask parishioners to bring a non-perishable food item, too.
