Is Gay Activists' "Civil Rights" Claim a Machiavellian
"Scam?"
For the above reasons and more, we hold it likely that gay activists'
use of civil rights rhetoric to gain special advantages is largely a
matter of calculated political expediency and use of "big lie" tactics,
rather than a measure of a true minority's truly felt oppression against
a truly bigoted opposition. As we have seen and will see demonstrated
further, gay militants' duplicity ("We're oppressed" vs. "We're rich,"
"We're born homosexual" vs. "Homosexuality is a changeable self-
affirmation or identity," "We're helpless victims of society" vs. "We're
a big-league political force in America") seems to know few, if any
bounds. Nor, as we shall see, do gay militants seem to possess a marked
degree of integrity when it comes to historical fact.
