Academic Freedom and Intellectual Diversity
On Friday April 18, 2008 Expelled: No Intelligence Allowed opens in theaters across the United States. The movie stars Ben Stein and follows his journey around the globe where he discovers that scientists, educators, and philosophers are being fired, ridiculed, or ostracized for challenging the materialist's worldview espoused by some evolutionists that excludes any possibility of God's existence.
Our Special Focus addresses the issue of academic freedom, an important issue to faculty and students.

Virginia Tech: One Year Later
April 16,2008 marks the one year anniversary of the deadliest school shooting in American history. Our Special focus examines the role of prayer in the sorrowful aftermath of this event.
