Is There Meaning in Evil and Suffering?
Hosting a Satellite Location for the Ravi Zacharias Forum
This broadcast of the Ravi Zacharias Forum from
the Cobb Galleria Center in Atlanta, GA is the sole property of and licensed
under the authority of the Faith and Science Lecture Forum, Inc., and may
not be sold, recorded, rebroadcast, or retransmitted in any format without
the expressed written permission of the Faith and Science Lecture Forum,
Inc.
If you would like to host a satellite downlink for your campus:
-
Check to see if your campus has a C-Band satellite dish to get the signal
off the satellite. Your campus information technology office or campus
cable TV office should be able to tell you.
-
Make sure that the signal can be delivered by coaxial or fiber optic cable
to the auditorium in which you want to show the debate.
-
Make sure the auditorium has a video projection unit to display the signal.
-
If you are not on a college campus and do not have C-Band, you can also
get the Forum on the Sky
Angel DBS on the Angel One channel. Please tell us you will be
using Sky Angel when you contact us.
-
E-mail us (rzforum@leaderu.com)
with your desire to show the forum, and confirm that you have the necessary
facilities and equipment. We will review your request, and send you the
satellite location and channel if you are approved. You will need to coordinate
with us as there could be some last minute changes. Also, we would ask
that you keep in touch with us to let us know how many people come, what
their responses were, and what kind of ministry happened as a result of
the debate.
-
Utilize any of the promotional material below that you find helpful or
create your own. Do not alter the material as there are several copyrights
and licensing agreements involved. Create an small insert to put in the
brochure with your local information. Fill in the blank space on the poster
and flyer with your local information.
-
Handout the brochure to everyone that comes to the event. The brochure
is very versatile. It can be used as an advance promotion piece. It also
serves as the program for the forum itself.
-
Be sure each member of the audience gets a response card when they come
to the forum. This card can be torn out so you can get feedback,
and know who to contact for further ministry opportunities.
For promotional materials and other resources for hosting the debate,
please see our Resources page.
