Veritas Family Camp for College Faculty

The ministries of Campus Crusade for Christ, Navigators, InterVarsity Christian Fellowship, and the New Creations Foundation/Veritas Forum are combining to host a very special week at Cedar Campus. This one-week Veritas Institute is designed specifically for Christian faculty and professors on secular campuses, single or with family, for rest, refreshment, and re-equipping for your life and ministry.

Cedar Campus staff will provide age-graded programming for infants through high school students. The afternoons are free. Wednesday will be a "day off" for time as a family -- relaxing or sightseeing In the evenings we'll have as many as eight different seminars led by some participants on various topics pertinent to our lives as Christians on the campus.

Cedar Campus is located in Michigan's Upper Peninsula on two secluded peninsulas of northern Lake Huron, only 45 minutes from the majestic Mackinac Bridge and Mackinac Island. With over 500 acres and miles of Lake Huron shoreline, Cedar Campus is an exceptionally beautiful and unspoiled environment. One of the benefits of spending time at Cedar Campus is getting away from your usual surroundings and enjoying the nature that God has created.

Cedar Campus is a Christian retreat and training center, owned and operated by InterVarsity Christian Fellowship, and accredited by American Camping Association and Christian Camping International. Accommodations range from rustic (camping sites and small cabins with a nearby wash house) to resort-style (with kitchen and bath facilities), and from single family units to ten-bedroom lodges.

In your free time there are trails to hike, swimming in the pool or lake, sailing, canoeing, fishing, a library of books and tapes, as well as volleyball and basketball.

Pre-Registration

Perhaps you are considering attending the Veritas Insitute Family Camp this summer. Priority is being given to faculty from those campuses that have hosted a Veritas Forum, or who currently have one on the calendar for 98-99, and previous attenders. We desire to accomodate everyone, but since spaces are limited, we need to prioritize for the sake of integrity toward the foundation who is making both this Institute and the Veritas Forums finacially feasible.

If you would like to speed things up, complete the online pre-registration form below. Then mail a check for $100 made payable to Christian Leadership Ministries to:
