Traveling This Summer?

Due to an extended time of travel these next few weeks, this will be the last of this school year's Monday Ministry Minutes. They will return in August as school starts up again.

Do you have the opportunity to do some traveling this summer? I'm not talking about taking a vacation (which I hope you take!), but rather some travel related to your teaching/research. If you are, you might be able to turn that travel into a life-changing event for others.

If you are traveling overseas to a conference or any other reason, you might have the opportunity to tell us of any Christian professors you know of or meet on your trip. We would love to keep them informed of how they can minister in their own country. If you would like, we may even be able to put you in contact with leaders in that country who are involved in campus ministry. If you find a Christian colleague overseas or would like more information on having an impact overseas, contact our International Director, Dave Wiley, at dwiley@clm.org.

If you are traveling to another campus in the United States, we might be able to put you in touch with like-minded Christian professors on that particular campus. This can result in a great time of fellowship as well as potential ministry to others.

If you are attending a discipline related conference this summer, you might discover other Christians in your profession who would be interested in developing positive models of ministry on their campus. Again, we would love to be a resource to them. Just a few words of encouragement might make the difference for a professor or a campus - nearby or around the world.

And speaking of other Christians in your discipline, don't miss out on the chance to interact with others in your discipline at our God and the Academy conference this June 21-25 in Atlanta. This conference, co-sponsored by Christian Leadership Ministries and Ravi Zacharias, is a "don't miss."
