Ministering on the Road

Do you ever have the opportunity to travel to other campuses here in the States or Overseas? Have you ever considered that these trips might be an opportunity for you to have a ministry while on your trip?

While visiting another campus here in the States, you might want to consider contacting the local Christian Faculty Fellowship or a student campus ministry to see if you might be able to interact and encourage them. You might be able to deliver a talk one evening if your schedule allows.

Overseas, there are even greater opportunities to share your faith. There is probably some ministry on the campus(es) you're visiting that would just love to have you speak to them. They might be able to set up an outreach for you while your there. Just think, a trip with an eternal impact!

How do you find out about such opportunities? The easiest way is to contact your CLM faculty representative and let him/her know when/where you are going. You can also contact the CLM National Office at (972) 713-7130. We would love to help make your travel significant. The more lead time we have the better, but it is often possible to arrange things on very short notice.

Don't leave home without it.

Action Point: Before your next trip out of town, check with your CLM Rep. or the CLM National Office for opportunities to minister to others on your trip.
